Aysha Azimuddin (She/Her)
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
I believe that you are the expert of your own experiences, and regardless of what those experiences are, there is a doorway to walk through to understand your inner and outer world better. I believe change can happen on many levels, in how you see yourself, how you relate to others, and your general outlook on life. It would be a privilege for me to walk alongside you on your journey of growth.
All About Me
I earned my doctorate at Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. I have worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, residential treatment centers, college counseling centers, and private practice. I completed my doctoral internship at a community mental health center in the Village of Hoffman Estates and my postdoctoral fellowship at a private practice called Lincoln Park Psychology. I specialize in working with teens and adults on issues such as trauma, grief, and depression.
I offer a warm, grounded, and supportive space where you can feel seen and challenged to grow. I blend psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness concepts with a social justice lens. I also think humor can be a great tool for healing when appropriate. I also conduct psychological testing for children and adults.

I enjoy playing with my two cats, listening to Bollywood music, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
